The Treasury University Challenge 2020 has been launched. It is a very exciting opportunity for New Zealand university students to get a glimpse into some of the things that the Treasury does. The task requires students to engage with one of three topical public policy issues, including access to tertiary education, the regulation of rental housing and fiscal policy advice. The finalists are invited to present their advice to an expert Treasury panel here in Wellington and the winner will be given $2500 towards their 2020 university fees.
