Entries for the 2020 World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Awards are open until January 15. The awards celebrate innovative projects around the world for their positive contributions to education and to society. Six projects will be picked in September 2020 and will each receive $20,000 (USD). You can check out previous winners here including New Zealand project Te Kotahitanga (University of Waikato). WISE is an initiative of the Qatar Foundation, chaired by Her highness Sheikha Moza bin Nasser. Wendy McGuinness was invited to attend the WISE summit in Qatar in November 2020, you can read her thoughts, published in our latest think piece: for me it’s not enough.
