At the Transit of Venus Forum we were fortunate enough to interview Craig Nevill-Manning, a kiwi computer scientist who founded Google’s first remote engineering centre in New York.

In this video he discusses how New Zealand business people benefit tremendously from experiencing the world: ”I think for New Zealand to succeed even more than it does right now, we need to get New Zealanders on planes, we need to get people to the rest of the world in person to sit down with people and collaborate with people face-to-face.”

If we are serious about doing business in other countries and interfacing with exciting people around the world, there is no substitute for meeting in person. Thank you Craig for sharing your thoughts and your time.
