Welcome to the Dunedin City Council Strategy Workshop. The aim of the workshop is to provide a broader and deeper discussion on strategy development, it will be in the Harvard Business School style, which means it will be very interactive.  Below is the reading list that supports the workshop and corresponds with the McGuinness Institute’s Strategy Pyramid (see image). We will be discussing these readings at the workshop, therefore it would be appreciated if you could read or view all essential readings (marked with an astrix). The readings will take approximately 3-5 hours, so please note we refer to specific pages within articles to minimise the process as much as possible. When we meet at 9.30am, we will start the workshop by sharing our observations and insights as a way of starting a deeper discussion on strategy. Thank you for taking the time to prepare for this workshop, I know time is valuable but it will speed up the process significantly.

If you have any questions or queries regarding the readings please do not hesitate to contact Ella ([email protected] or 2020202019).

Location: Cadburys Reception (you will be directed to the meeting room from here), 280 Cumberland Street, Dunedin

Refreshments: Morning tea, lunch and refreshments will be provided on site.

We look forward to seeing you at 9.30am on Monday, 30 July.

All the best,

Wendy.
