Next week Generation Zero will begin their nationwide speaking tour which aims to ‘get NZ moving on climate change’ and showcase opportunities for New Zealand to move beyond our reliance on fossil fuels. The group will travel to 13 centres around New Zealand, beginning in Dunedin on the 15th of July and ending in Auckland on the 5th of August.

For those of you based in Wellington, you can join us in attending the event on Monday 22nd July at the Ilot Theatre in the Town Hall. The speaking line up features Dr. Ralph Sims (Lead author IPCC report, IEA senior analyst), Louis Chambers (a 2020 Rhodes Scholar who co-founded Generation Zero after attending the UN climate negotiations in Copenhagen in 2020), and youth climate leaders Maddy Foreman, Jimmy Green and Nina Atkinson.

Free entry/free food/all events start at 7pm! For more information about the speaking tour visit the Generation Zero website, or join the event on Facebook.
